Throughout the years Stoney Curtis has garnered international attention as a touring blues guitarist with his own hit album releases. In 1998 he formed the STONEY CURTIS BAND self –releasing his first record, a double live album called “Alive & Unleashed.” The album caught the attention of Shrapnel Records producer Mike Varney who visited a blues club in Las Vegas to see Curtis play and ended up signing him to the label in 2004. Stoney has since released 5 critically acclaimed albums for Shrapnel in a 10 year career for the label. Mike Varney has called him a true American Guitar Hero. Curtis adds his immense talent as guitarist to Count’s 77 and co-wrote the original songs on the new release.
